A New term in Year 5/6 with Mrs Henderson

Welcome to the new school Year.
What a fabulous first week back!  All children seem enthusiastic about their new class and are keen to do their best.

We have been busy already  drawing botanical drawings that Joseph Banks and his fellow scientists would have done when they were with James Cook's exciting and notorious explorations around the world particularly in the Southern Seas.  I hope you enjoy some of the photos  taken this week of these drawings and the children's interpretations of the Easter Island Statues.
